Paycor’s Partner Care offers the responsive support and expertise you need to exceed your clients’ expectations. It’s your one-stop resource for personal service and to get the answers you need when you need them. Our tenured support specialists will also manage client escalations internally until it’s resolved, keeping you informed of each closed case. Partner Care gives you immediate access to reports such as:
  • Workers’ compensation
  • Employee total compensation
  • ACA, including applicable large employer, affordability and employee eligibility

Free Standard EDI Feed Set Up 

Paycor understands the importance of electronic data interchange (EDI) for your clients to easily exchange payroll data with vendors. Your newly referred clients will receive free standard EDI set up feeds.

Please note, there is a $50/month maintenance fee per feed for all clients, regardless of loyalty status. However, we’re no longer charging customers for existing feeds to be configured to a new vendor with the same plan type (ex. Bob’s Landscaping switches from United Healthcare to Anthem for the next year… no implementation fee).

Certified Implementation Support

All of your newly referred clients’ implementation will be executed by highly experienced consultants trained to support specific industries and referral partners.

Waived Third-Party Integration Fees

We’ll waive third-party integration set-up fees for newly referred clients. As a top partner, we want to limit the fees so there’s less friction between our businesses.

Through the Partner Portal you’ll be able to use your logo and company info to cobrand the latest Paycor thought leadership and product information. There are also materials on how to initiate a PEO takeaway and how working with a broker and Paycor can benefit a business.

Marketing Development Funds

To help promote activities and drive joint prospecting throughout the year, Gold partners receive two MDF credits. Each credit is valued at $2,500 and are awarded twice a year to maintain a consistent presence in the market (one credit is available to use January-June and one to use July-December). Open Enrollment Readiness Call

Conducted annually in the fall, the open enrollment readiness call is our opportunity to connect on upcoming open enrollments that are in our shared book of business. We’ll cover best practices, timelines, risks, and opportunities around the Open Enrollment renewal season. The goal of these conversations is to ensure a smooth renewal season for the firm and our mutual clients.

How to Access Your Marketing Development Funds

Intent of MDF

Marketing Development Funds (MDF) should be used to perform a marketing activity that is mutually beneficial to our partnership and drives joint prospecting. Before you use MDF, consider your go-to market strategy and how this will complement those goals alongside Paycor.

When to use MDF

To maintain a consistent presence in the market, MDF credits are awarded twice per year with 50% of the annual allotment available on January 1 and 50% available on July 1. Any unused MDF credits will expire prior to the next award date.

How you earn MDF

  • You are eligible for 2 credits* when your firm achieves Gold status, and 4 credits* once your firm achieves Platinum status. 
  • Credits are available to use throughout the calendar year.
  • Please note, if you achieve a higher status before 8/31 of the same year, you will be eligible for bonus MDF credit(s) based on your new status.

*Each credit is valued at $2,500.

Note: All MDF credit requests must be submitted by stated deadline and concluded by the activity completion date or they will expire.

Approved MDF Activities

MDF can be used for one of Paycor's full-service program offerings or for a pre-approved strategy developed by the partner and Paycor sales representative.
You are also encouraged to submit your own idea. If you have a creative idea to help your firm and Paycor drive prospecting, work with your Paycor representative to determine your own activity.

Paycor Full-Service MDF Menu:

  • Co-host an event with Paycor targeting joint prospects or clients
  • Co-branded gift options such as Joycoast sunglasses and insulated drinkware. Requires an approved targeted list and Paycor approval of final proof before ordering.

MDF  Cannot Be Used For

  • Reimbursement for activities that already happened but were not approved.
  • Non-prospect driving activities, such as:
    • Golf outings
    • Golf sponsorships
    • Happy hours with the firm
    • Gifts for the firm
    • Philanthropic sponsorships
  • Gifts/drops that are not co-branded
  • Gifts/drops without a purpose/plan and an approved targeted list

Please work with your Paycor representative and to develop a plan for your credits.

How to Request MDF

  • Prior to submitting the request, ensure you've worked with your Paycor representative to determine the list of who you're targeting—remember the goal of MDF is to drive mutual prospecting for you and Paycor.
  • Be sure to submit your request in advance to allow time for review and approval. Requests must be submitted before the deadline or credit(s) will expire.
  • Log into the Partner Portal and go to the "MDF Requests" tab, then click "New Request". Complete the form to submit a request for approval. Make sure you're working with your Paycor seller to develop the strategy for this activity. If this is your first time accessing the Partner Portal, please complete this form.
  • Once you've submitted the request, Paycor Marketing will review and respond within 5-7 business days.
  • Once approved, you will receive the next steps via email. Please reach out to your rep or [email protected] if you have any questions or need help with the process.
  • Next, you'll complete the activity! Please note, some activities may require additional steps upon approval.

Specific Requirements

  • For promotional items, design and content require Paycor pre-approval through your Paycor representative.
  • At least 25% of the demand generation materials (including collateral) must be devoted to Paycor's product portfolio. Campaign must be geared toward lead generation or increased market awareness.
  • Paycor must approve demand generation activities in advance, including a detailed description of costs, publications, frequency, design, and copy at least 30 days prior to the material due date.
  • For events/tradeshows/seminars, at least 25% of the booth space must be devoted to Paycor.
  • For sales programs and promotions, a proposal including specific metrics is required prior to approval.
  • Sales SPIFs must have parameters that limit budget exposure. MDF cannot be used to impact pricing (e.g. discounts) or true-up incentives to cover tax liability. MDF cannot be used to fund financing offers or extended terms. Paycor reserves the right to deny or cancel a sales program at any time.
