Remind everyone why their work is important and how it supports the company’s larger goals. Jump in and help with the tasks that are furthest behind.

You probably wouldn’t be aware of it – you’re too busy analyzing metrics from the last quarter.
Mediate. It’s important that they both feel heard.
They’re adults; let them work it out on their own.
Call for a meeting to get this fixed right away. There’s important work to do, and we don’t have time for distractions.

Excited because they know exactly what to do.
Excited because they had a chance to share their perspectives and personal goals. 
Excited because they feel empowered to get the job done, however they see fit.
Excited because they see how important their jobs are to the future of the company.

5. Your team just finished an important project. How do you celebrate?

Debrief to talk about what went right, what went wrong.
Ask them if they want a group happy hour or a half day Friday.
If they want to celebrate, you’ll approve their expenses. 
You invite the CEO to a team meeting so your team can get extra face time.
